Ancient Plane

Believe It or Not!, these ancient South American artifacts have caused quite a stir. They were originally thought by archeologists to be golden insect models, but aeronautical engineers thought they more resembled flying machines. The figures are dated around 500-800 A.D. Similar objects have been found in Costa Rica, Peru and Venezuela. The engineers built a to-scale model and proved it was a successful flying machine, but who could have used a pre-historic plane??
